Hi, Dawn! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am so sorry to hear that you need to cancel your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Many of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel have also had to adjust our vacation plans in light of recent events, so we can certainly sympathize with what you're going through. I hope that you're focusing on a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!
Dawn, I would recommend that you first contact your travel agent. He or she will be able to tell you if they can take care of canceling your
vacation package for you or if there is anything that you need to take care of on your end. Since you purchased your tickets for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party yourself, I suspect that your travel agent will not be able to assist you with that portion of your plans.
Typically, tickets for special events such as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are nonrefundable, but considering the current extenuating circumstances, I recommend calling the
Help Center phone number for existing tickets. A Cast Member will be able to advise you on the best way to proceed in your situation. I do hope that you will be able to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party during a future visit. It is one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort events!
Although your trip may not be happening as planned this year, please take comfort in knowing that the magic of Walt Disney World Resort will be waiting for you whenever you're ready to return. The Disney Parks Moms Panel will also be here to help you plan your next vacation. Remember, tomorrow's just a dream away!
See ya real soon!
Samantha
