Unfortunately I had to cancel a vacation. Do I need to cancel park reservations or are they automatically cancelled with my trip, and if so, how do I cancel them?

Hi Tracey and welcome to planDisney!

I'm so sorry to see that you had to cancel your Walt Disney World vacation.  I believe that everything happens for a reason, so hopefully you will be able to re-book your vacation for another time in the future.

If you know you will not be needing your theme park reservations, you should cancel them to let other Guests pick them up for their vacation.  To do this, click on the "My Disney Experience" tab at the top right of the Walt Disney World website.  Scroll down to the section that says, "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" and you'll see your upcoming theme park reservations.  Click on "Manage" to the right of the reservations and the next page will give you the option to cancel each one.

When you're ready to start planning again, please reach out if we can be of any help.

    Have a magical day!
