Hi Brandi! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
I'm sorry to hear that you may need to cancel your upcoming trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort. While I'm sure this is an extremely tough decision you need to make, I'm happy that you are still outside of the 30-day window. If you purchased a vacation package that includes your Disney Resorts hotel and ticket package, you'll receive a full refund from any monies paid if canceled at least 30 days before your arrival. If you do need more time to decide and cancel within the 30-day window, you'll receive a full refund minus a $200 cancellation fee (price subject to change at any time). If canceled the day before you are set to arrive, you won't receive any refund at all.
To cancel your vacation package, log on to your
My Disney Experience account and scroll down to your upcoming reservation. There should be a modify or cancel icon to the right of the screen. If so, click on this to start the process of canceling your stay. If this is not an option, you can always
call the Walt Disney World Resort and speak to a Cast Member for assistance. They will be able to handle this request over the phone.
Brandi, I hope you get a chance to reschedule your trip for a future date. I'm excited about the new experiences that are expected to come to the Walt Disney World Resort in the coming years.
Tiana's Bayou Adventure is expected to open at the end of 2024 in the Magic Kingdom. I have a feeling that this attraction is going to be incredibly immersive and take Guests on a wild experience.
Have a magical day!
Greg
