Mina from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

is there a way to undo the cancellation of a reservation? i planned to go on dec. 8th but my reservation got cancelled.

Hi there, Mina! Welcome to planDisney! I can see that you are hoping to visit the Happiest Place on Earth in just a few days, so let's take a spin in a tea cup and see what we can find out for you.

It sounds like you canceled a theme park reservation for December 8th, and now plans have changed and you'd like to attend on that date again. I hope I've got that right! While you are not able to retrieve a canceled reservation, you can continue to check to see if one becomes available. With the holidays in full swing, I know that the theme park reservation calendar has had limited availability lately. At the moment, it looks like there are no reservations on December 8th, but let's not let all the pixie dust fall quite yet. Guests, just like yourself, are always changing plans and canceling and rescheduling reservations. The theme park reservation calendar updates with these changes, and there is a chance one might open up! You might need to hang on tight to some faith, trust, and ... patience on this one. While there are no guarantees, with some diligent refreshing of that calendar, I'm hoping you might see your date become available. It can change quickly, so you'll want to grab it if you do see it! Guests are asked to cancel reservations by 11:59 p.m. the evening before, so I would look for movement on December 7th. I'm going to send a wish upon the second star to the right that December 8th opens up for you!

If you aren't able to secure a theme park reservation, you can still enjoy so much of the holly jolly of the holidays throughout the Disneyland Resort! Both the Disneyland Hotel and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa have decked the halls and make for a spirited visit with hot cocoa in hand. The lobby of the Grand Californian Hotel hosts an annual gingerbread house and a treat cart with seasonal sweets that you can only find this time of year. If you're looking to check a few people off your gift-giving list, a stroll through Downtown Disney District is sure to reveal some perfect finds for those special people on your list!

Mina, I hope you are walking down Main Street, U.S.A. very soon! If you have any more questions, please come back to see us at planDisney.

    Never stop dreaming,
    Tara
