Greetings Anne!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for bringing your question our way!
I’m sure you’re looking forward to your magical vacation to the Disneyland Resort! It will be here before you know it!
It sounds like you might referring to the FastPass+ system at Walt Disney World. That system allows you to make up to three pre-selected FastPass+ reservations. The
Disney FASTPASS system at the Disneyland Resort works a little differently, allow me to explain. Unlike in Florida, you will not make any FASTPASS selections until you arrive inside the park. You’ve added
Disney MaxPass to your ticket, so you’ll be able to make FASTPASS selections digitally on the Disneyland App. You can browse the available attractions then make one selection at a time. If you have a
Park Hopper Ticket, you may select from either park regardless of which park you are physically in. You'll be able to make another selection at a predetermined time. When you receive your FASTPASS return time, the screen showing your barcode will also list the next time you’re able to make another FASTPASS selection.
Your FASTPASS selections will show in the
Disneyland App in the My Plans section and on the main landing page. When your return time arrives, you’ll receive a notification in the App. Head to the FASTPASS entrance of the attraction and scan either your theme park ticket or the barcode on your phone. You’ll have the option to scan either one no matter the method you used to make the reservation. Once the reservation window has passed or the reservation has been used, the FASTPASS barcode will disappear from the Disneyland App.
I hope this helps to answer your question! Please let us know if you have any more before your trip! We’re all EARS!
