    My understanding is that I will get a voucher emailed if I order annual passes online. Can I use the voucher number to book a resort room using the annual passholder discount or do I have to wait until I redeem the voucher at the park? Thanks!

    Hi Laura,

    Congratulations on the Annual Pass! You can use your annual pass for a resort discount in one of two ways. You can call 407-WDISNEY and let the cast member know you would like to use an Annual Pass discount. You will be asked to show your Annual Pass, or the discount card they are now using, at check in to confirm your discount. I have also shown my voucher at check in and exchanged the voucher after we were settled at the resort. 

    Your other option is to link your Annual Pass voucher to your My Disney Experience account. Once you have linked your voucher, you should be able to book a room online using the Annual Pass discount. 

    I have one tip for exchanging your voucher. We have gone to Downtown Disney on our arrival day and exchanged our vouchers at the Guest Relations location there. We typically drive and arrive later in the day. We start our trip with some fun and a great meal at Downtown Disney, then are ready for the parks first thing in the morning!
