Hi Brian,
Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for taking the time to visit us with your question.
Like so many people, I was excited when I heard the wonderful announcement that Disneyland Resort theme parks will finally reopen on April 30, 2021 after being closed for over a year. I can’t wait to
return to a land of Magic really soon, and it looks like you’re gearing up for a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, Brian!
You’re correct that you can cancel your
theme park reservation (preferably as soon as possible to allow other Guest the opportunity to visit the park). Theme park reservations can be cancelled until 11:59 PM the day before your planned visit.
The expiration date of the
ticket you purchased on April 15, 2021 depends on whether it is a One-Day or Multi-Day ticket. One-Day tickets purchased this year are valid through December 30, 2022. On the other hand, Multi-Day tickets purchased this year must be used within 13 days of first use or by January 12, 2023, whichever occurs first. Brian, this gives you plenty of time to plan and visit the Happiest Place on Earth!
Once you’ve figured out your travel plans, please visit us on

See ya real soon,
