Am I understanding the meal plan to say that or 6 day plan includes 12 meals and 24 snacks that can all be used in a 4 day period if desired? We will likely not use 2 meals on our arrival or departure days and don't want them to go to waste

Hello Michele! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When my family visits Walt Disney World Resort with a Disney Dining Plan as a part of our package, we are sure to plan as many magical dining experiences as possible. By applying the Disney Dining Plan effectively, you can experience so of the best food and entertainment at Walt Disney World Resort at an incredible value.

My favorite aspect of the Disney Dining Plan is that credits can be redeemed whenever your party desires. The only caveat is that you may only redeem Disney Dining Plan credits up to 11:59 EST on your check-out date. If you would like to save credits on your first and last day, you are free to book unforgettable experiences or even some of the 2 credit experiences, such as Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue and Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show when you do redeem.

Whenever you scan your MagicBand for a meal that uses your Disney Dining Plan, an update of your remaining credits will be including on the receipt. Be sure to plan accordingly, as my family has often spent our final day justifying multiple snack purchases to use of final credits.

With so many amazing Dining Locations at Walt Disney World Resort available, you are sure to enjoy magical experiences that will last a lifetime.

    Bon Appétit!
