    Hello! I understand that the Wilderness Lodge is undergoing a renovation in 2017. They are adding a new restaurant also. My question is, is the new restaurant for DVC members only?

    Hi Bill,

    Are you as excited as I am about all of the upcoming expansions and renovations underway at Disney's Wilderness Lodge? This majestic Resort which pays homage to the National Park lodges of years past is in the midst of a very large scale expansion, with the addition of a new Disney Vacation Club property. Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is scheduled to open in July 2017, joining the other recently re-imagined Disney Vacation Club property at this Resort, Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. These enhancements at Disney's Wilderness Lodge are bringing lots of new and exciting spaces for Guests to enjoy, including the redesigned Hidden Springs Pool complete with an expanded sundeck area and zero-depth entry, and many new dining options.

    In my opinion, one of the most exciting additions is the newly opened Geyser Point Bar & Grill. Here Guests can enjoy drinks with a view of Bay Lake while dining on creative small plate selections or more hearty Northwest-themed meal options. In addition, there is also a Counter Service window serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, making it a perfect place for grabbing a quick meal on the go or poolside. I am happy to confirm that all Guests are welcome to enjoy Geyser Point Bar & Grill - not just Disney Vacation Club members.
