I understand that waiting for the new Star Wars ride is different than a fast pass. My son is in a wheel chair. How does the boarding wait work for disability access?

    Bright Suns, Leigh-Anne!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am thrilled to hEAR you and your family are planning on visiting the planet of Batuu! My family and I have explored Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge a few times now and we are still discovering new adventures and experiences. Be sure to make some time to try the local foods! I have eaten a chicken dish and the vegetarian option at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo and both were delicious! You will have to visit the Milk Stand to try blue milk and green milk and decide which one you like more. I prefer blue!

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is one of those experiences that will leave you feeling awe-struck the entire time. It truly is out of this galaxy! The Disability Access Service will work in conjunction with the Boarding Groups, if they are still in use when you go towards the end of April. My suggestion would be for you to get to Disney's Hollywood Studios bright and early, about 45 minutes before Park opening so you're inside the gates on the dot when the Park opens. Once you enter Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will join a boarding group by logging in to your My Disney Experience app for you and your party. When your boarding group is called, you will have some time to return to the attraction. Go to the greeting Cast Member at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and tell them you have a Disability Access Service pass. They will work with you to make sure you are taken care of. I cannot wait for you to go on your secret mission!

May the Force be with you and your son, Leigh-Anne!
