Hello! I understand that visitors are placed in Boarding Groups on a first come, first serve basis for the new ride at Hollywood Studios; what happens if the time frame interferes with our FastPasses and/or meal reservations? Thank you !

    Bright Suns, Erin!

It's been such an exciting time on the planet Batuu since the opening of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance just a few weeks ago. Black Spire Outpost is still under the control of the First Order, but the Resistance is gaining power and accepting new recruits in an effort to restore the balance of power in a galaxy far, far away.

You're definitely up on all of the news from Batuu because you already know all about the boarding group system that's being used in order to gain access to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Once your entire party has scanned your tickets or MagicBands to enter Disney's Hollywood Studios, you'll be able to join a boarding group using the My Disney Experience app. Once your boarding group has been called, you will have two hours to use it to enter the attraction. This should be plenty of time to use or modify any of your conflicting FastPass+ selections or finish up your meal if you happen to be in the middle of one of your dining reservations. Make sure that you check-in with a Cast Member at the front of the attraction before your two-hour window closes as guests are currently only allowed to have one boarding pass per day.

'Til the Spire, Erin, and may the Force be with you!
