I understand that staying in a good neighbor hotel does carry some perks such as free transportation to parks and such. My question is, does this also allow you the perk of early entry to the parks for Magic Hours?

    Hello Jennifer,

Thanks for stopping in to see us here at planDisney, and thanks so much for your question.

Ready to get an early start to enjoy the magic at the Walt Disney World Resort? Then Early Theme Park Entry is a new Guest benefit that you'll find super exciting.

Early Theme Park Entry offers 30-minute early entry to any of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks on any day of the week. (Of course, you'll need your valid theme park admission and your valid Disney Park Pass system  theme park reservation).

You can see the Walt Disney World Resort hotels and other select hotels that are participating in Early Theme Park Entry by viewing this list on the Disneyworld.com website. My suggestion is to follow along for updates, and also follow the Disney Parks Blog for updates on what's new and exciting in the theme parks.

Keep in mind that Early Theme Park Entry is a new benefit, and it's different than the Extra Magic Hours benefit that was previously offered and is no longer offered. When it was offered in the past, the Extra Magic Hours benefit only applied to certain theme parks on certain days. The new Early Theme Park Entry benefit provides you the flexibility to enter the theme park you choose on the day that you choose 30 minutes earlier.

You'll also want to stay up to date with the planDisney Panel as we share tips and ideas on social media.

Jennifer, here's wishing you a bright and early start to your Walt Disney World Resort theme park magic!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
