Welcome to planDisney, Kaylee!
I'm SO excited for you to be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth. I hope you enjoy every wonderful moment! By the way, you'll be visiting during
Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT! Be sure to spend some time savoring some goodies from around the World Showcase! There's always fun to be had for little ones at EPCOT too! My 4-year-old and 1-year-old love
Journey of Water. (I'd recommend bringing a swimming suit or a change of clothes so your little one can really enjoy the splash pad at the end of the walkthrough.
Absolutely request an early check in, Kaylee! Cast Members will do their very best to get you into your room as soon as possible! You can also visit the Front Desk as soon as you arrive to maximize your chances of securing early room entry.
If you're not able to get into your room in time for naptime, here are my tips for a successful nap:
-Cover his stroller with a light blanket (bonus if you can put a tiny rechargeable fan in the stroller to keep him cool) and explore your Resort and surrounding areas on foot while he sleeps.
-Head to Magic Kingdom and ride
Carrousel of Progress over and over again while he naps. (I've done this a few times, you will have to exit and re-enter, but if he's cozy in your arms, it shouldn't be a problem.)
-Ride the Skyliner while he naps in his stroller or in your arms.
-Ride the
Wildlife Express Train back and forth in Animal Kingdom while he naps in your arms.
-Head to a
Baby Care Center at any of the theme parks for the nursing rooms to have access to a cool room and a rocking chair if he needs to nurse or have a bottle before a nap.
I know these are not completely ideal napping situations, but I have accomplished naptime in all of these locations with moderate to great success! I hope you're able to find something that works well for you and your little one.
If you have any additional questions before your arrival, we hope you'll visit us again here at planDisney! Have a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!
