Hey Howdy Hey Joshua and welcome to planDisney!
As we head into a new year, there is so much to look forward to with a trip to Walt Disney World Resort and one of the big things for many theme park goers, is the change to the reservation requirement. Thank you for your question about Annual Passholders as this is one of the unique tickets that may still require a theme park reservation. Let's get into the details.
You are correct Joshua that
reservations for date-based tickets will no longer be required on or after January 9th, 2024.
If you are an Annual Passholder, you will still be required to have a reservation to enter the parks in most situations. Depending on your Annual Pass, you can carry up to 3 reservations with Disney Pixie Dust Past and up to 5 days with a Disney Sorcerer or Disney Incredi-pass. If you are staying onsite at a Disney Resorts Hotel, you will be able to make reservations for your entire stay. You can still make your reservations either online or on your My Disney Experience account. That being said, things will change for Annual Passholders starting January 11th.
On January 11th, you will see
Good-To-Go-Days pop up on the availability calendar for Annual Passholders. On these days, you will not need a reservation to enter the parks. You will see these on the
theme park reservation calendar,
Annual Passholder admissions calendar or on your
My Disney Experience account as long as your pass is linked to your account. These days are also subject to change and can be changed based on capacity limitations.
There are a lot of changes to the reservation system this month, I am glad you stopped by for clarification. Hopefully, with this information, you are better prepared for your trip this Spring. As you continue to plan for your trip, make sure to stop by EPCOT for their celebration of warmer weather and a new growing season with
EPCOT's International Flower and Garden Show. There is so much to see and taste with beautiful displays of flowers and topiaries as well as fantastic food offerings celebrating the season's foods.
If you have any other questions, Joshua, feel free to stop back, we are always happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
