Hi Robin!

Yes, parents can run with their children during the Mickey Mile and you don't have to pay for the adult running. Some children prefer to do it alone, while others like having their mom or dad with them.

Generally, there will be discounts offered for DVC members. Sometimes you can register early for races as well. You will find any of that information on your DVC membership website, in the special offers section. The Disney World marathon weekend isn't open yet, so you should keep watch for it as registration gets closer. General registration for marathon weekend will open on April 9.
