    I understand that the new magic bands are out. If I make a reservation and want new bands will they be the old ones or the 2.0 ones?

    Hi Mary! Many guests anticipated the arrival of the new Disney Magic Bands since they were announced this past fall. The good news is that starting in January the new bands have been sent to all guests with reservations at Walt Disney World. The pictures on the web site will still show the older ones but you will certainly get the new ones when you have the resort reservation. You can personalize them as you did the last ones and choose that favorite color. They will be mailed to you or you can pick them up at the resort upon check-in. 

    I will be trying out my new ones next week to see if they are more comfortable then the old. I have not heard any negative feedback from guests so looking forward to these new ones. I hope you enjoy yours!
