Hey there, Tim, and welcome to planDisney!
Tim, as you stated, Walt Disney World currently requires a valid Theme Park TIcket and
Disney Park Pass Reservation for entry into the Theme Parks. With your 4-day Theme Park Tickets, you must make 4 Disney Park Pass Reservations. But the reservations can be on any 4-days within your 7-day window. Additionally, you only have to reserve the first Theme Park you plan to visit each day if your tickets include the
Park Hopper Option.
While I typically recommend that Guests book their Disney Park Pass reservations as soon as possible, you can probably get away with putting off your reservations for a little while. In my opinion, it’s best to make the Theme Park Reservations once the
Park Hours are released for your trip - which usually happens about 2.5 months before your arrival date. That way you can plan your Theme Park visit days accordingly. For example, if
Magic Kingdom Park is open late one evening, then I want to make sure I make a Magic Kingdom Reservation for that day. But I suggest securing those reservations as soon as the park hours are released. The holiday and New Years’ season at Walt Disney World is extremely popular and sure to be filled with enough memories for a lifetime!
I hope this helps, Tim! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation,
stop back by and let me know!
