You will surely
not go hungry onboard a Disney Cruise ship, Susan!
Dining is one of my favorite activities when I sail with Captain Mickey. The dining options are plentiful as you can enjoy all-you-care-to-eat on board and on Castaway Cay. Disney has a signature dinner rotation plan for the sit-down dinners that you'll enjoy each night. To top it off, you'll have a dedicated dining team following you each night of your voyage through the 3 main dining rooms: Enchanted Garden, Royal Palace, and my kids' favorite,
Animator's Palate.
There are 2 seatings for sit-down dinners... the 1st (main) seating at 6pm and the 2nd (late) seating at 8:15pm. Depending on when you booked your cruise, you might be able to still choose your dining time. You will get to dine in all 3 main restaurants during your cruise. On voyages that are longer than 3 nights, you'll be able to enjoy the dining areas multiple times. Your dining rotation assignment will be given to you once you check-in at the Port terminal on embarkation day.
And yes - the
24-hour Room Service is included in your cruise cost. Can you imagine -- warm cookies and milk for everyone before bed... or Mickey Ice Cream bars at midnight? The latter is not on the menu by the way -- but go ahead and ask for it, and they'll deliver it. Pool side dining at Flo's Cafe and anytime Ice Cream on deck, as well as the buffet at Cabana's gives you even more options! The self service drink stations on Deck 11 is easily accessible. Dining at the adult-exclusive Palo restaurant is available by reservation at an additional cost (but so worth it!).
Have a great voyage, Susan! You've got me thinking of food now...
:-) Dolly
