Hi, Nuris! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I'm so glad to hEAR that you're
getting ready to return to a world of magic when
Walt Disney World Resort reopens. To protect the health and safety of Guests and Cast Members, things may look a little bit different when The Most Magical Place on Earth begins to once again open its gates. However, I have no doubt that your visit will still be practically perfect in every way.
One of the ways that Walt Disney World Resort will be protecting its Guests and Cast Members upon reopening is by requiring
face coverings. All Guests (ages 2 and up) and Cast Members must wear face coverings at all times, except when dining or swimming. Remember what the Mandalorian says about wearing a mask. "This is the way."
According to the guidelines on the Walt Disney World website, all face coverings should fully cover your nose and mouth, fit snugly against the side of the face, and be secured with ties or ear loops. I chatted with a Guest Services Cast Member, and she told me that gaiters and face shields are not considered appropriate face coverings. If you are unable to have anything attached to your ears, I would recommend wearing a face mask with ties that fasten around your head.
As you prepare for your visit to Walt Disney World Resort, be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog for all of the latest updates on this whole new world of vacationing. If you have any additional questions, please visit us again.
See ya real soon!
