There's no place like Walt Disney World Resort for the holidays. Now, before you start packing your festive apparel and heading to your Disney Resort hotel, let's discuss the topic of
Disney bands for international Guests.
Susan, you're correct - unfortunately, international Guests do not have the option to pre-order Disney bands for their Walt Disney World Resort vacations. Therefore, international Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels are not eligible for pre-arrival discounted rates on Disney bands. However, I'm happy to inform you that Disney bands are widely available at many
merchandise locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort! While you won't be able to take advantage of the pre-arrival rates, you may be able to apply a different discount to your order if you're a Disney Vacation Club Member or
Annual Passholder. Alternatively, you may occasionally find discounted Disney bands at some retail locations. For example, I've had good luck finding discontinued styles on sale at various stores on property. You could also visit one of the Disney outlet stores in the area to check out their selections of discounted Disney bands!
You'll be visiting during the
most magical time of the year, Susan. During your visit, I encourage you to check out the
EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. This very merry annual event celebrates holiday traditions from around the world, allowing Guests to enjoy seasonal sips and snacks, as well as exceptional entertainment! The
Candlelight Processional, which features a
celebrity narrator reciting the story of Christmas backed by an impressive chorus, takes place nightly during this festival and is free for Guests to enjoy. (There are some pretty spectacular narrators lined up for the dates of your visit, Susan!)
