    I understand that the Magic Bands have a battery life of two years. Will owners be notified when the battery is no longer useful? Can the battery be replaced or will a new band need to be purchased?

    Hi Mary,

    At this time, guests are issued a new set of complementary MagicBands with each new Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation, alleviating the worry of an older set of MagicBands may no longer work. The MagicBand battery is not replaceable. They have not made any announcements regarding notifications of expired batteries.
