I understand that kids under 3 don’t need a park ticket, fastpass, or their own dining plan...but when making a dining reservation, do I include them in the number of the party? For instance there are three adults and one infant, do I make it for 3 or 4?

    Hi Danielle!

I'm so impressed! You have clearly done your homework and this is an excellent question! I love how thorough you are being with your planning!

When making dining reservations, you do want to include your infant in your count. You will make all of your dining reservations for a party of four. Unless you specifically purchase a meal for your tiny Guest, your little one will still be able to share with you and dine for free.

Including your infant in your count will ensure you have adequate room for everyone at the table. It also helps the restaurant manage capacity for safety and service. Upon check-in, let the seating host or hostess know you have an infant dining with you.

I'm so excited for you! You are going to love seeing Walt Disney World Resort through the eyes of your little one!

It sounds like you are already an expert planner but if you find yourself needing any other tips, the Planning Guide for Preschool Kids & Little Ones is filled with oodles of information designed specifically for younger Guests.

Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Please let me know if you need any other information as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
