This beloved nighttime spectacular has a soundtrack that will draw you in as the wonder takes hold. I suggest having a tissue in your pocket, just in case you get some liquid pixie dust in the corner of your eye.

Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel can purchase an Individual Lightning Lane for select attractions at 7:00 a.m. via the Tip Board of the My Disney Experience mobile app ( ≡, Tip Board, scroll to attraction). All other Guests can book at park opening. You can purchase an Individual Lightning Lane for everyone in your party at one time, Kelly, as long as they appear on your Family & Friends List with valid admission and a theme park reservation linked to their My Disney Experience account or account profile. To purchase an Individual Lighting Lane at 7:00 a.m., everyone in your family also has to have a Disney Resort hotel reservation linked to their My Disney Experience account. The second step of the Individual Lightning Lane reservation process is where you confirm your party; all eligible members of your Family & Friends List will appear for selection. Those listed as "Not Eligible" will state their missing requirement(s) such as valid linked admission or a theme park reservation.   

Unlike Genie+ Lightning Lanes, Individual Lightning Lanes cannot be modified after purchase. If experiencing an Individual Lightning Lane attraction with your family is a priority, which it should be, then you definitely want to book together. If certain family members are not staying at a Disney Resort hotel, I recommend booking at park opening. There will be less arrival times to choose from and certain attractions may even be out of return times, but this keeps everyone in your family on the same planning track. Keep in mind, most Individual Lightning Lane attractions can also be experienced via a standby line. Notable exceptions are Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and TRON Lightcycle/Run, which can only be accessed via the virtual queue or an Individual Lightning Lane reservation.
