Hello Michael, and welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with your question. My panelist pals and I love to talk about Disney snacks. No matter how often I visit, there's always something new to taste on each trip.
I did some research and discovered that, currently, the PB&J Croissant is offered in the bakery at
Everything POP Shopping & Dining at
Disney's Pop Century Resort. It looks and sounds delicious, and I'm adding it to my list of must-try treats when I stay at this resort in November. Yum! Typically, you are only permitted to enter parking lots at resorts in which you are staying or have a table-service dining reservation, so I can see how your friend had trouble. If you want to visit Disney's Pop Century Resort or any Disney Resort Collection hotel, I recommend using
Walt Disney World Resort Transportation to reach your destination.
While the PB&J Croissant sounds amazing, if you don't make it over to Everything POP Shopping & Dining, I'll share a few of my favorite and unique pastries you might want to try on vacation. They can all be found in theme parks, so you don't have to worry about transportation or parking.
*Lunch Box Tart from
Woody's Lunch Box at Disney's Hollywood Studios (flavors rotate seasonally)
*Cream Cheese Warm Soft Pretzel at Magic Kingdom Park's
Lunching Pad*Creme Brulee Croissant at
Gaston's Tavern in
Magic Kingdom Park*Anything that appeals to you at
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe (my favorite is Norwegian School Bread) or
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie (try the Napolean). Both pastry shops are in
EPCOT.
*Tiger Tail Chocolate Twist at
Isle of Java in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park (a tasty spin on a traditional chocolate croissant)
I hope this helps make your sweet dreams come true, Michael. Please write back if there's anything else
planDisney can do to assist you before your adventure begins. Thanks again for visiting us, and have a magical day!
Bon appetit,
Betsy
