I understand you don’t allow pets but service animals. I have an emotional support animal with a valid ID. Can I take him with me and what restaurants can take care of us to eat outside?

Hi Tania! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

There are so many fun celebrations kicking off this month at the Walt Disney World Resort! As a Florida Resident, you are even closer to the magic, and it is a great time to enjoy a visit with Mickey Mouse and all his friends.

I spoke with a Cast Member regarding your question and was told that the Walt Disney World Resort follows ADA guidelines when it comes to allowing service animals in the theme parks. He suggested you consult with a physician on your personal needs and ask if your pet meets those guidelines. I also found this great answer from my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist, Kay, regarding an emotional support dog that you might find helpful with your decision.

As for dining locations with outdoor seating, many Quick-Service spots offer a nearby space outside. Flame Tree Barbecue and Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes are two of my favorite spots in Disney's Animal Kingdom. Magic Kingdom Park's options include Casey's Corner and The Lunching Pad. In Epcot, head to World Showcase for a huge variety of outdoor food locations like Lotus Blossom Café. And in Disney's Hollywood Studios, Catalina Eddie's and Woody's Lunch Box are super yummy!

I hope this information helps you prepare for your visit, Tania! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
