I understand some of the disney hotels show outdoor movies. Are you able to attend even if you are not staying at a disney resort?

The schedules for those movies under the stars at select Disney resorts aren't really published, Joanna.  They are, though, given out to the guests of the resort.  With that in mind, I tend to think that the movies are meant for the resort guests.  The one exception I can think of is the Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long at Fort Wilderness.  Not only can you roast marshmallows there, but so, too, can you watch a movie and sing some songs with America's favorite chipmunks!  Everyone is welcome.  Also, I will say that if you happen upon a movie under the stars in progress at any of Disney's resorts, they won't kick you out.  I've watched part of several different Disney films by wandering up during visits to Disney's Polynesian and Disney's Beach Club.  I hope that helps!
