I understand by declining mousekeeping you'll receive a gift card ($10 per night except last night) via email. How will you be able to use that card if you get it via email?

    Hi Wanda,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

As you know, select Walt Disney World Resort hotels offer the “Service Your Way” program, which gives Guests the option to decline housekeeping services during their stay. If you choose this option, you would receive a Disney Gift Card for a value of $10/night for all but one of the nights of your stay. This means that, if your stay is 6 nights long, you can receive a $50 gift card if you decline “Mousekeeping” for your stay.

I had a chance to use this service during one of my recent stays at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and it was great. They emailed me a “digital” Disney Gift Card that I was able to load onto my smartphone and then use at most Disney merchandise or Disney dining locations. If you don’t have a smartphone, please ask the Cast Member checking you in for your stay or your Resort's Lobby Concierge what your options are: they’ll be happy to help!

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
