I understand there is a 500 day booking window for Disney vacations. My question is what time of day the booking window opens. We are trying to book a stay around Christmas and understand that our preferred room is limited in quantity.

Hey there, Chris, and welcome to planDisney!

Chris, you can book your reservation 499 days before your desired arrival date. And since Disney Vacation Packages for all of 2023 were recently released, you will be able to book both your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel Stay and Theme Park Tickets online once your booking window opens! Christmas is my favorite time to visit Walt Disney World - not that there is a bad time - so I think it’s great that you’re here getting an early jump on your planning. While I’m not sure of the exact time that the booking window opens, I suggest checking at 5:45 a.m. EST, or as Disney vets like to call it: Mickey Time!

Chris, if you’re feeling ambitious and want to book for your upcoming Christmas vacation in 2022, I’m excited to let you know that your booking window is open now! Simply head over to the Walt Disney World website to see if your desired resort and room type have availability for your preferred dates. If you find that you need a little bit of assistance with the process, a reservations Cast Member at (407) 939-1936 should be able to assist you further. While you’re on your vacation be sure to take a Christmas Tree stroll through Disney Springs where you may catch a Central Florida snow shower! And if you’re staying in select hotels across the resort, you’ll have the perfect photo opp in front of a homemade gingerbread masterpiece!

I hope this helps, Chris! If you have more questions while planning your vacation, stop back by and let me know
