Ahoy Sabrina!
Happy to have you onboard here at planDisney! When I hear that you are thinking of exploring
New Orleans, I immediately think, “Laissez les bon temps rouler” (let the good times roll). This port city combines the best of food, music, sightseeing, nightlife...and did I mention FOOD? Having sailed from New Orleans last year on the Disney Wonder, I can say this is a fantastic experience from start to finish!
So much of your cruise fare depends on the number of Guests,
stateroom category, and number of nights to your sailing. So without that information, I can’t tell you exactly how much it would be. But I CAN tell you how to look it up on the Disney Cruise Line website.
The site makes it very easy to browse the available cruises by clicking on “Leaving”/“Sailing To” /“Departing From” tabs. You will want to select New Orleans under the "Departing From" tab, and that will show you only those specific itineraries. To the right is an icon that will allow you to say the number of Guests and if traveling with children, a spot to list their ages. If you want, you can also
contact Disney Cruise Line and a Vacation Planning Specialist will help you in choosing the perfect itinerary.
Currently,
all of the six sailings from New Orleans begin in February of 2022. There’s a 4-Night Western Caribbean Cruise to Cozumel, Mexico; a 6-Night Western Caribbean Cruise to Cozumel, Mexico and George Town, Grand Cayman; and a 6-Night Bahamian Cruise to Key West and Castaway Cay.
You are in for a total treat with the
Disney Wonder and New Orleans. I savored every moment of the Western Caribbean itinerary as we sailed to Cozumel. I definitely recommend a pre- or post-cruise stay in the Big Easy to soak in all the history and culture. What you’ll find when you board the ship is that the New Orleans vibe keeps going in the lovely French Quarter Lounge and also
Tiana’s Place, one of the three
rotational dining restaurants. Get ready for toe tapping live music from the Crawfish Crooners, appearances by Tiana & Big Louie, and a street party atmosphere that will make you think you are still ashore in NOLA.
I hope this makes you feel “almost there” as far as being sold on the Disney Wonder and New Orleans. We’d be jazzed if you came back by planDisney for help with more cruise planning tips. Have a WONDERful sailing!
SEA ya real soon!
