I understand a credit card is used to secure purchases/charges against your magic band. But is it possible to settle your account with a debit card/cash before the charges are made against the credit card (trying to avoid exchange rates). Thank you!

    Hi Maria!

Absolutely!  I love paying for my Walt Disney World vacations with Disney Gift Cards that I have saved up.  Even though I have to give a credit card to set up my room charging, I pay all my charges off before my credit card actually gets charged.  You can do this either night before your check-out date before the balance gets charged in the morning or before your account reaches the maximum spending limit which is $1500 at Value and Moderate Resorts or $2000 at Deluxe Resorts.  If you think you're reaching your limit and you're mid-vacation, stop at the front desk to pay down or pay off your balance before the charges go to your credit card.

    Have a magical day!
