Hi there Jason, and welcome to planDisney!
For
round-trip cruises from Melbourne, each Guest 18 years and older may bring a maximum of 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne (in original containers), no more than 750 ml each, or 6 beers, no more than 12 ounces each, on board when they embark and at each port of call. They must be packed in carry-on bags, not checked luggage. If you are embarking in the United States, the minimum age to bring aboard unopened wine, champagne, or beer is 21 years of age. If you take your unopened bottle to the dining room, you will be charged a corking fee of $26 per bottle (subject to change).
I like bringing my own bottle of champagne on board and placing it in the refrigerator in my stateroom for a nice sendoff beverage. I pack my favorite insulated stemless flute and use it while sitting on my
verandah as we sail out of the port.
If you do not want to pack wine, champagne, or beer, there are numerous
nightclubs and lounges to choose from. If you are on the
Disney Wonder, check out the
French Quarter Lounge for some New Orleans, Louisiana-themed cocktails plus live performances throughout the day. Check out the daily activities in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app so you won't miss a thing! If you have any other questions, come back to visit us at

Happy Sailing!
