I understand that I can book 3 FastPass and need to use them up before I can get the additional one. I book my 3rd FastPass of the day that we will be at Epcot for IllumiNations at 9.00pm. Does that mean I can get more FastPass before I use the 3rd one?

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Vimonrat!

IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth is one of my favorite nighttime shows at Walt Disney World Resort. It is so beautiful to see the lights around Epcot's World Showcase and the large globe in the center of World Showcase Lagoon is absolutely spectacular! You are correct in that you book three FastPass+ reservations per day and then you can add additional reservations, one at a time, after those first three are used. The Illuminations: Reflections of Earth FastPass+ reservations are included in these first three reservations, so if you have that booked you cannot add additional FastPass+ reservations until after the show is complete. If the show is scheduled at Epcot's closing time, then you will not be able to get more than three FastPass+ reservations on that day.

Using FastPass+ reservations for evening entertainment is a good option because it allows you to get preferred seating, but my family usually chooses to use our FastPass+ reservations in other ways so we can use them earlier in the day, particularly during our Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios days. I have found that there are many good places to view the show all around World Showcase and so we just like to get a spot along the fence 30-60 minutes before show time and have an evening snack and refreshment while we wait for the show to start.

Please let us know if you have any other questions! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
