I understand the blue flag launch isn't running between the Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness campground. We have a dining rsvp and an archery rsvp in Oct. Do you know if they still run a bus back and forth between the Lodge and campground? Thanks !

Howdy Cheri, and welcome back to planDisney. We love it when our Guests come back to see us again and again!

I'm so excited about your upcoming plans to visit Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Just last month, my family and I were enjoying a Specialty Cruise, and our Cast Member captain told us about some of his favorite recreation activities in Walt Disney World; he positively raved about ARCHERY! Whether you have a group of aspiring Robin Hoods or Hawkeyes, you're in for a great experience.

Currently, resort-to-resort transportation is still suspended, so the best route to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort from Disney's Wilderness Lodge will be via the Magic Kingdom Park. Take the boat or bus from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom Park, and then transfer to the watercraft bound for Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. I suggest planning for about an hour of transportation time, and if you arrive early, enjoy the scenery and tranquility of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. It truly is one of the most serene spots in all of Walt Disney World.

I hope this is helpful, Cheri! If you're running late for your reservations, save time by arranging a taxi or ride share service like Uber or Lyft. The front desk or Bell Service Cast Members can help call a taxi if you like, and you'll be on your way shortly. Best wishes for a fabulous fall getaway next month, and if there's anything else we can do to make your trip even more magical, don't hesitate to reach out. You've got a friend in me!
