    I understand that BLT's Top of World Lounge is open to all DVC members for a limited time. Can we bring guests with us that are not DVC members?

    Hi, Scott!

    The Top of the World Lounge at Disney's Bay Lake Tower is by far my favorite place from which to view the always-breathtaking Wishes. It's also an elegant, yet unpretentious place to unwind, enjoy a light snack or a beverage and take in the sweeping views from 16 stories high.

    According to the "Latest News" section of dvcmember.com's homepage, "This perk is available exclusively to Members and those in their traveling party who are staying on that Member's reservation. At least one Member in the traveling party must accompany the group and present his or her current Key to the World card displaying a Disney Vacation Club Membership notation in order to gain admission to the lounge. If the Member's Key to the World card doesn't display a Membership notation, a Disney Vacation Club Member ID is required in addition to the Key to the World card to verify Membership."

    In past stays, we've brought extended family, my in-laws, my cousins and their children, along with us for our stay at BLT. As long as one Member accompanies those in your traveling party, and that one Member has appropriate DVC identification, such as a Key to the World Card on which "DVC" is printed, or the DVC Member Card, your entire group will be able to join you at this very special location. Keep in mind that DVC does state that this is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to head to BLT's lobby well before you'd like to get to the lounge. Your ID will be checked and you will be escorted to a special elevator for your exclusive access to the Top of the World Lounge.
