I understand to attend Mickey's Christmas party you have to have tickets to the park in addition to the celebration tickets. If we do not purchase the park hopper can we visit the park during the day and use that same ticket for admission to the party?

    Hi Jonathan,

I'm happy to help clarify the ticket situation for you, which can be a bit confusing.

You do not need a theme park ticket and a party ticket in order to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. The party ticket is all you need for entry to the celebration, which runs from 7 p.m. to midnight on select nights.

However, if you want to spend the entire day at Magic Kingdom and then stay for the party, you will need both a theme park ticket for the day and a separate party ticket for the evening celebration. Magic Kingdom closes to guests without party tickets at 7 p.m. on the days that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party takes place.

Does that help? I hope so. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a fun event with a great parade, special fireworks and lots of extras, including snow on Main Street. It's a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays at Walt Disney World.

Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. Enjoy your time with your family!
