While I understand that the Aquaduck is not considered accessible, would I be allowed to carry my wife up the stairs so that she can have a chance to ride it?

Ahoy there, Michael! Thank you for sailing by planDisney with your question.

The AquaDuck is an elevated water coaster, the first of its kind at sea. You are correct that it is not considered wheelchair accessible because it is only available by climbing about 70 stairs. Due to safety reasons, you would not be able to carry your wife up those stairs.  There is a pool lift at the following locations on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy if you are interested:You can call Disney Cruise Line in advance or visit Guest Services onboard to arrange for time and confirm location for use of the pool lift.

I know this is probably not what you wanted to hear, Michael, but I hope it helps with planning your magical vacation onboard Disney Cruise Line. If you have any other questions, come back to visit planDisney anytime.
