Hi Kendall!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am always delighted to greet a fellow Annual Passholder!
We have been following the
Annual Passholder updates closely and I just finished making the last of our park reservations using the
Disney Park Pass system. As exciting as this new system is, it is new, so some Annual Passholders' experiences have been different. Rest assured that Cast Members who provide technical support are working diligently to ensure that everyone can access the system.
According to the language we have received, as an Annual Passholder, you should be able to make park reservations for the length of your stay with a resort hotel reservation or, without a resort reservation, you should be able to make three days of park reservations. When making our theme park reservations, I was able to make those associated with a resort stay on the first day the system opened to guests for reservations. I chatted with a Cast Member today about your question. The Cast Member said that you can do one or the other, but not both.
I will be honest; I had some luck with the Park Pass system and am not sure why - I told my daughter who is my travel planning assistant that she clearly made great progress at her last Jedi training and was becoming quite skilled at using the Force. I suggest that you try to make your park reservations and perhaps the galaxy will move in your favor!
For now, you could consider booking that
resort stay with theme park tickets. I just put a deposit down for a spring 2021 resort stay with theme park tickets because my Annual Pass will expire before the dates of the trip, and I am not yet sure if I will renew it. I am thrilled to have park reservations for that visit now!
Kendall, keep an eye on the
operational updates as you prepare for your visit. I can practically hEAR you asking, "WHERE is my supersuit?" The superhero energy is flying as we all get ready for an
Incredible adventure on our
next Disney Day!
Magic and Memories,
Donyell
