so undecided weather to do a waterparks and more or not. my dd are 7 and 9 and i was told theres not much to do at the waterparks for there age and they really just like to float in the water with there life jackets on,. were staying at movies in august

    Hi Denise!

That is a really hard question.  I can tell you that I have two boys, ages 13 and 9, and they have been going to the water parks regularly since the oldest was 7, making my youngest 2 on his first outing.  Both boys have always loved visiting both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach and said it was one of the highlights of their trip.

However, both of my boys spend a lot of time in the local pools and we take them to our local water parks, so they may be more used to the water.  I suggest not getting the Water Parks Fun & More option since you are undecided.  Instead, wait until you are down there.  If you have a free afternoon, then head on over to the water parks and just buy a single entry ticket.  A single entry ticket is actually less expensive than the Water Park Fun & More option.  Then you will know.

By the way, a lot of children love Blizzard Beach more than Typhoon Lagoon, but I prefer Typhoon Lagoon for the family.  That's mostly because of its theming; it has a lot more shade which I think is important on a hot and humid Florida day!

Good luck with your decision, and please write back with more questions!
