My uncle found out that we are visiting florida and wants us to visit him. He has also offered to buy our 3 day DW tickets,as we haven't seen him since grandpa passed. Is he allowed to do so, as he will not be going to the park with us. Thanks

Hi Preya!  I'm excited you will be able to come south for a nice Disney visit.

I assume your uncle is referring to the Florida Passes that residents are able to get at a cheaper cost. Disney offered this to be a good neighbor and encourage local city and state residents to come and enjoy the parks and special events year round.  It was not meant to be used for residents to buy tickets for friends and family from other states.  I am sure this happens but you do run the risk of them asking you to show your Florida driver's license when you enter the parks using a Florida pass ticket.  If you do not have one you will be denied entrance and will have to go and pay the difference in the cost of the tickets.

Hope that answers your question and I am sure you will have a wonderful three days exploring and enjoying the parks!
