Hi! I am uncertain of which dining plan would be best for 2 adults & 2 kids (7 & 5). I am worried that my boys will not want to spend the time eating in restaurants each night. So.. could we use the table service meals for quick service meals on so

    Hi Pamela,

If you suspect your boys would not have the patience for table service meals, it doesn't make sense to buy the Disney Dining Plan that includes table service meals.   You can choose the less expensive quick service dining plan instead.  This is a good option for families who want to minimize time spent eating in favor of time spent enjoying attractions.  This plan gives each member of your party a refillable resort mug, two quick service meals, and two snacks per day.

If, however, you would like to have the Disney dining plan that includes table service meals I have another strategy for you to consider.  Book table service meals that will appeal to your busy sons.  Select character meals that will keep your sons' focus on meeting Mickey and friends, or choose meals that offers interactive experiences like those at O'hana or Whispering Canyon Cafe.  There's so much going on during those meals that your boys are unlikely to get bored.  If you do want to eat at table service restaurants, be sure to call 1-407-WDW-DINE to make reservations up to 180 days in advance of your visit.

Have a great vacation at Walt Disney World!
