Hiya, Robert!
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney again, this time with a question about verifying your Florida residency!
As a Florida resident for more than 20 years, having Disney World Resort right in our backyard is such a pixie-dusted treat. Whether we decide to visit the theme parks on a whim or plan a longer stay, it's always nice to know that the magic is right in our backyard.
Robert, let’s jump right into your residency question. One way you can verify your Florida residency is by visiting
Guest Relations or the
Ticket Center, both located at
Disney Springs. Another option is any ticket window right near the entrance of any of the
theme parks. A friendly Cast Member will be happy to review your documents and help you get everything squared away.
To
verify your residency, you may present a valid Florida driver’s license, Florida state-issued identification card, or Florida-based military identification card.
If you do not have one of those forms of identification, you may be able to provide current documentation showing your Florida residential address. This can include a mortgage statement, homeowner’s insurance policy or bill, automobile registration, automobile insurance policy or bill, or utility bill. You may also present mail from a financial institution, such as a checking or savings account statement, or mail from a federal, state, county, or city government agency.
Be sure that all documents are current. You may bring printed copies or have them readily available on your phone to show the Cast Member. A little preparation ahead of time will have you one step closer to the magic!
Robert, I hope this helps answer your question. If you have any additional questions, feel free to visit us again.
See you real soon!
Christina
