Hi, we are unable to reserve a ticket for Fantasmic (Hollywood studios) because no more place for reservation. Fantasmic at 9h pm. They suggested us to be in line at 7h30 pm. Is it worth to wait 1h30 or risky to have no place after the long wait ? Thanks

    Hi Kathleen,

I am so sorry that you have not been able to get reservations for the Fantasmic Dining Package. Don't give up though - keep calling - someone could cancel for whatever reason. You can even check the morning that you plan to see to visit DHS to see Fantasmic.

It is true that the suggested time to get in line for Fantasmic is 60 - 90 minutes prior to show time. Because it is now only performed on select evenings, almost every show fills up. There is a great reason for that, its an awesome one-of-a-kind show.  Fantasmic lasts approximately 25 minutes.  The main stage is a large mountain and the performance features live actors, special water effects, music, rafts, large mist screens with Disney animation projected onto them and of course, awesome fireworks.

If you see a long line waiting to get in (and you will), don't panic - the theater is huge. There is seating for around 6,900 people and standing room for many more.  Go with the mindset that its going to be a long wait and mentally prepare yourself for it.  Bring something to keep you entertained while you wait - this is especially true if you're traveling with kids.

Once you're seated, there are concession stands and restrooms located in the theater. You can also bring food into the theater.  We like to get our seats and then send someone back for food.

If you've never seen Fantasmic and don't think that you'll be visiting WDW again in the near future when you may be able to get Fantasmic Dining Reservations, I'd say that its definitely worth the wait and good things come to those who wait so you should go for it.  Its one of my all time favorite nighttime performances in the parks and you won't be disappointed.

Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
