i am unable to reserve dining at Crystal Palace without a credit card. I have a dining meal plan. Is this normal?

Hello Joseph!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Most reservations at Walt Disney World now require a credit card on file to hold the reservation.  Your credit card wont be charged anything at the time of reserving.  When you dine, your server will ask you if you are on the Disney Dining Plan or how you would like to pay for the meal.  The only time your credit card on file would be charged is if you didn't show up for your dining reservation.  Then you might see a fee of $10 per person on your account.

I hope this helps clear up some confusion!   If you have any other questions, I'd love for you to come back and ask.  Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
