I am unable to make reservations for the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party for October 18th. Is Disney doing away with this concept given the new fireworks show, Happily Ever After?

    Hi Kristi!

I went to the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party just last weekend and it was fantastic!  The new show, Happily Ever After, is amazing with the beautiful music, castle projections and even laser lights.  It's just visually stunning!

There are two versions of the dessert party.  The first is the Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace.  This one is located at Tomorrowland Terrace and it is where you will watch the fireworks.  There are tables provided, but most of the Guests line up at the railing when the show starts to watch.  The second is Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing, which is the one I did.  You will enjoy all of your sweet treats at Tomorrowland Terrace and then walk over to the Plaza Garden, which is the "grassy" garden area more centrally located to Cinderella Castle.  You can sit on the grass or stand to watch the show.  Only dessert party Guests are allowed in the Plaza Garden, so it's roomy with a great view.

Reservations for either of these parties are showing in the online calendar through November at this time and both are happening on your desired date, but it does look like it's currently fully booked.  Since it's early still, I suggest you keep checking to see if more spots open up or if other Guests cancel.

    Have a magical day!
