Hello Petra,
Let me start by saying that I'm happy to hear you're planning a visit to
"The Happiest Place on Earth!" Based only on your question, I don't know whether this visit would be a return visit to the Disneyland Resort for you, or whether you'd be visiting for the first time. What I do know, or at least what I'm fairly certain of from my own view, is that a visit to the Disneyland Resort is simply something very special. Magical, you might say. When you visit, and I'm hopeful you will visit, I do hope you'll get to experience all that magic that awaits you.
Let me next say that I'm sorry to hear you weren't able to find Disneyland Resort theme park reservations for the dates you are planning to travel. You don't mention when you are planning to travel or if you have flexibility in those travel plans.
My best suggestion is to continue to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar. You might find that reservations are made available for selection for the dates you wish to travel.
I know you're asking "Do we cancel?" Here's the way I would think about the question. It sounds like you have not yet made theme park reservations, so in that sense, there aren't park reservations to cancel. If you have
purchased theme park tickets and yet do not have theme park reservations, it's helpful to know that you'll have some time to use those tickets before they expire. It's also helpful to know that should your theme park tickets expire, you can likely apply the amount you paid for the tickets towards the purchase of new tickets.
Petra, I hope this information is a bit helpful. If there are specific plans for which you'd like some suggestions, or if your question remains, please do ask here at planDisney. We're here for you and happy to help.
Here's wishing you a wonderful visit to the Disneyland Resort, and here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today.
Jerry
