Hi Scott,
Welcome to planDisney! I am so sorry to hear that you have been experiencing difficulty making
Disney Park Pass system reservations!
By now, I hope you have been able to link them, but, just in case, here are a few tips. First, make sure that the correct names are on the vacation package reservation and that those names match the profiles you have in your
My Disney Experience account. We are also Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members and when I book a DVC reservation and try to link it in My Disney Experience, I have to match the profiles from that reservation to the profiles I have setup in My Disney Experience account. If a travel agent or someone else made your reservation, that could explain why you may need to match profiles for Guests on the reservation. Once those profiles are matched, you should be able to make park pass reservations.
If you are trying to make
advanced dining reservations and are having trouble I will also suggest that you log into My Disney Experience, click on My Plans, and then scroll down to make sure you see your vacation package and/or resort hotel details. If you do not, then your reservation truly is not linked properly. It sounds like you can see that reservation, however, so one last suggestion would be to double-check the dates on the reservation.
If you have secured your park pass reservations but later decide to change plans, remember to check the
theme park reservation availability calendar before canceling any park pass reservations and trying to make new ones. Given that you are arriving soon after the launch of
The World's Most Magical Celebration, I do hope you get those reservations made.
Scott, if you cannot get the reservation issue resolved, I suggest you
contact a Cast Member in Website Support. They have helped me resolve all kinds of issues with My Disney Experience account!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
