Hello, Lisa! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
I've got a joke for you, Lisa. Why Did Mickey Mouse go to outer space? To find... Pluto! Funny, right? Okay, that's all of the space humor I have for you today but I do have the scoop on all things
Space 220 right now. A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to have lunch at Space 220 and let me tell you the experience was out of this world. You really do feel like you are dining 220 feet above Epcot. It's so cool.
If you are unable to land a dining reservation for the all-new Space 220 for either lunch or dinner, you can still enjoy a meal there by sitting in the bar and lounge area. This space is actually located right in the middle of the main dining room which provides you with the same starstudded views and experience as everyone else. The bar and lounge at Space 220 is currently operating on a first-come, first-serve, walk-up list basis. Depending on the time and day, you may experience a little bit of a wait, but it is well worth it. In the lounge area, you are able to enjoy offerings from the
flight bite (appetizer) menu which is actually my favorite course the restaurant offers. If you'd like something more, you can also choose to enjoy the
prix fixe menu for either lunch or dinner depending on when you are there. If you'd rather not eat, you can also just go up and enjoy some atmospheric spirits (cocktails) or some zero-proof cocktails while enjoying the view. The lounge and bar area is very flexible in the offerings which is why I actually prefer it to a full-on dining reservation where you have to order from the prix fixe menu. This is going to be my go-to way to enjoy Space 220.
I hope this helps, Lisa! If you have any other questions about Space 220 or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help. Also, if you haven't already, check out
planDisney's new Instagram page. There, you can follow along with panelists in the parks and stay up to date on new offerings.
Have fun Lisa and enjoy!
