    I was unable to make a reservation at Be Our Guest because all were taken during the entire week of our stay. Is there a way to get on a "waiting list" so when a cancellation is made, I will be notified -- so I can reserve the time for my family

    Hello Constance!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. 

    Be Our Guest Restaurant is a very popular restaurant at Walt Disney World.  Guests can start making dining reservations 180 days in advance and this restaurant fills up quickly.  There is no type of waiting list in place for you to be notified if a reservation becomes available.  My best advice is to be persistent with calling to see if anything has opened up.  I have had good luck landing a dining reservation when the trip becomes a little closer - around the 45 day out mark.  Because trips need to be paid in full by then, sometimes people cancel their reservations.  If you are still unable to reserve a dining reservation, I suggest eating at Be Our Guest Restaurant for lunch!  I am a big fan of the lunch menu and actually prefer lunch over dinner.  Lunch is a quick service location, meaning you can just walk up and dine.  However, lunch is extremely popular as well.  So if you are thinking about trying lunch, try to get in line early.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
