    Hello! :) We were unable to get a reservation at Chef Mickey's during the Halloween week we will be there.I was told from a couple people at reservations that if we go, there is a chance we can still get in with a wait.Has anyone had any luck with that?

    Hi Jenna!
    Stand by is not the preferred method for getting into popular dining experiences, obviously, but there is always a slight chance if you time it right.
    I have experience doing this, although it was not on purpose.
    While staying at the Contemporary, my girls wanted to do Chef Mickey's for breakfast and we did not have ADRs (Advance Dining Reservations). I spoke to the Cast Members the night before (we wanted breakfast the next day). They said that although they could not "guarantee" me anything, if we were there first thing in the morning, we would probably get a table as many guests do not like to come that early. I was first in line the next morning at 7AM sharp and we were the first family to be seated.
    So, A) you need to be willing to be flexible and B) you need a little bit of pixie dust. BUT, it is definitely possible.
    Ask, and ask nicely, and be willing to do what is necessary.
