Oh bother! I'm sorry to hear that you've been having trouble changing one of your party members' My Disney Experience characters. Let's try to fix that, shall we?
Anna, if you have been trying to do this through the My Disney Experience mobile app, I'd like you to head on over to the
Walt Disney World Resort website instead. Once you're here, please hover over the My Disney Experience tab and click on
My Family & Friends. Now, simply scroll all the way down until you see your Guest's profile. If their plans are managed by you, you should be able to change their profile picture without any issues by clicking on Update, followed by Change Character.
If your Guest's plans aren't managed by you, they'll need to get it done through the My Disney Experience mobile app. In order to do this, they have to click on the three lines at the bottom right corner of their screen, scroll down, and click on My Profile. Then, they should immediately see the Change Character prompt, where they'll be able to pick a new character very easily.
After you or your Guest have changed the character through the website or the mobile app, you should be able to see this change reflected on your Disney account. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back so we may assist you further!
